IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR DELEGATES

Registration Entitlements: Registration includes entry to sessions, access to digital papers via the FLS App or website, morning and afternoon tea, lunch and post event networking function. All travel/accommodation costs and arrangements are to be covered by delegates.

Session Papers: We are pleased to advise that we will again be delivering all program material digitally by the FLS App. To download Click here for AppleClick here for Android. The App has a number of features including information about the program, the session speakers, but most importantly digital access to the papers. More information about how to download and use the App will be advised closer to the event. For delegates who would like to print papers, a weblink will be sent by email closer to the date of the Intensive. If you do not receive information about the App and papers within the week prior to the Intensive we ask that you contact the Family Law Section by email events@familylawsection.org.au

Refund/Cancellation Policy:Cancellation of registration four weeks prior to the commencement of a program/event will incur a $100 administration fee. Delegates will forfeit 50% of the registration fee if they cancel between two and four weeks prior to the program. No refund will be given if delegates cancel within two weeks of the program/event. Registrations are transferable. The Family Law Section reserves the right to cancel programs/events where there are insufficient enrolments. The Family Law Section cannot be responsible for non-refundable travel and accommodation bookings.

Privacy Notice:Your personal details will be collected and used by the Law Council of Australia (Law Council), and also disclosed to the Law Council's contractors and service providers, for the purpose of processing your event registration and organising and managing the event. If you are registering as a non-member, you do not need to identify your identity when registering and can use a pseudonym (fake name) instead.

The Law Council may also use your personal information to provide you with information about matters relevant to the legal profession and other upcoming conferences and events. The Law Council may collect photographs, audio and video recording of individuals who attend events, which the Law Council may use and make widely available, including publishing on our website. By attending the event you consent to such use.

Insurance:Delegates are advised to affect their own insurance to cover all risks including (but not limited to) costs of travel, accommodation, conference registration, injury/death, health and medical expenses, personal property and all other risks. The Intensive and organisers will not be held liable for claims under any circumstances.

Force Majeure: Neither the Family Law Section, nor the Family Law Intensive shall be liable for delay or failure to organise the Intensive if such delay is due to fire, typhoon, cyclone, earthquake, flood, strike, labour dispute, war, government order, riot, revolution, pandemic or any other cause beyond their reasonable control.
