Clever Events are bound by these terms and conditions. By booking to attend an event, you are agreeing to be bound by the terms and conditions as below.

Privacy Policy

All personal information supplied will remain strictly confidential and will only be accessed by authorised employees within the department. This may involve the disclosure of some information to regionally based human resources teams and Queensland state schools. Your information will not be disclosed to any other person or agency unless you give us express permission (such as scanning your ticket at their exhibitor booth) or we are required by law. Personal information collected by the department is handled in accordance with the Information Privacy Act 2009.

What personal information do we collect?

You may give us contact information such as your name, email address, physical or postal address, telephone number when registering for a program offered or making an enquiry on our website. If we do not receive this information from you, we may not be able to provide you with acknowledgement and receipts or responses.

How do we use your information?

We might use the information to process your registration, respond to feedback, to contact you if required or any other use which you may authorise. In addition, we may use the information you provide to us to promote our products or services unless we have your express consent not to do so. You will always have the option of ceasing this communication at any time in the future by advising us.

Registrant names may be included on a delegate list – only name, title and company will be displayed.

Photography

Photographs taken at any Clever Events program or event may be used for promotional purposes on the Clever Events website and in Clever Events publications. If you do not want a photo displayed in this way, please let the photographer know at the time of the photo.

Will we give your information to others?

No. We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others.

Security

We take security very seriously and take as many steps as possible to secure your information. However, we accept no responsibility for any loss, misuse, unauthorised access (such as, but not limited to, ‘hackers’) or disclosure, alteration or destruction of personal information you provide to us.

Our website might have links to external websites. Each of those sites has their own Privacy Policy and we encourage you to review those individually, as these sites are not under our control. We have no responsibility for these linked websites and provide them solely for your information or convenience.
